About The Position

REI Co-op is seeking a Distribution Center Staffing Coordinator to recruit, manage onboarding, and engage with external talent for the Distribution Center. This role will focus on recruiting and onboarding non-exempt staff to support the operational duties of the Distribution Center. The position partners with Talent Acquisition and DC Management to identify effective sourcing strategies, manage the recruiting system, coordinate hiring events, review applicants, schedule interviews, and extend offers. The role also involves administrative tasks such as scheduling, onboarding coordination, and maintaining office supplies. Requirements

  • Experience recruiting (non-exempt roles) in a high-volume environment.
  • 3 – 5 years of administrative experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as MS Office.
  • Consistent communication skills across various platforms (verbal, written, Email/Teams, presentation, external).
  • Self-motivated with the ability to handle many priorities with a sense of urgency and a high degree of accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and DC Management to identify effective sourcing strategies.
  • Manage job requisition and posting details and creation.
  • Manage the recruiting system.
  • Coordinate hiring events.
  • Review applicants and schedule interviews.
  • Extend offers.
  • Coordinate with the DC Sr. Admin to support recruiting and onboarding administrative tasks.
  • Proactively update DC Management on the status of recruiting activity.
  • Partner with other HR disciplines to resolve high-volume recruiting challenges.
  • Screen and interview candidates to assess skills.
  • Build relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and external partners to ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Manage the applicant tracking system and communicate updates to hiring managers.
  • Evolve hiring event process to create best practices and ensure continuous improvement.
  • Maintain department bulletin board, forms, and office supplies; place orders to replenish supplies.
  • Support Sr. Admin and perform other related duties as assigned.
