About The Position

Client is a national battery provider that supplies DC Power infrastructure and batteries to major Telco Carriers and Datacenters. They work with companies like Brightspeed, Frontier, AT&T and Microsoft. They are seeking installation technicians with experience in Primary Power and DC Battery installation, as well as test and turn up experience. This is a traveling position covering the upper Midwest including MN, WI, IL, IN, MI, OH. The client will cover hotel and meal expenses while on assignment, and candidates will be reimbursed for mileage when using their personal vehicle. Candidates are expected to provide their own hand tools, while major power tools will be supplied by the client.

Requirements

• Background in Primary Power and DC Battery installation.
• Test and turn up experience.
• Experience from other battery vendors such as Emerson, Eltek Energy, Marconi, Alpine Power, or similar.
• Experience coming directly from Telco carriers.
• Must possess own hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Install DC Power infrastructure and batteries.
• Perform primary power and DC battery installation.
• Conduct test and turn up procedures.
• Travel to various work locations within the upper Midwest (MN, WI, IL, IN, MI, OH).
