About The Position

This position is responsible for handling and moving raw materials and finished goods in the converting area or distribution center. The role involves operating a forklift and potentially a Box Clamp. The associate will assist in the receipt and storage of incoming raw materials or outgoing finished goods, read and understand Bill of Ladings and ST/OT paperwork, and operate a scan gun to load data into the JD Edwards system. Responsibilities may also include assisting with inventory and cycle counts, inspecting trailers for loading, wrapping and moving finished goods, and dumping trash to maintain a clean warehouse space. Additionally, the role may involve performing and documenting truck and facility yard inspections, transporting trailers, maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the facility yard and parking lot, and communicating yard, parking lot, and trailer status to relevant personnel. The associate is also responsible for keeping trucks clean and reporting any mechanical issues. Requirements

High School diploma or GED, required.
Must be organized.

Nice To Haves

1 - 2 years warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Handling and moving raw materials and finished goods in the converting area or distribution center.
Operating forklift, may operate Box Clamp.
Assisting in receipt and storage of incoming raw materials or outgoing finished goods.
Reading and understanding a Bill of Ladings and ST/OT paperwork.
Operating a scan gun and loading data into JD Edwards system.
Assisting with inventory and cycle counts.
Inspecting trailers for loading.
Wrapping and moving finished goods from production to designated warehouse location.
Dumping trash and keeping warehouse space clean.
Performing and documenting truck inspections as well as facility yard inspection at start of shift.
Transporting both empty and loaded trailers for distribution center and production facility.
Keeping facility yard clean and the parking lot neatly arranged and safe.
Communicating yard, parking lot and trailer status to distribution and production personnel.
Keeping trucks clean and notifying management of any mechanical issues.
