DC Maintenance Technician, NIGHT SHIFT - Gastonia, NC

The C SHIFT is Monday-Thursday, 6:30 PM - 5:00 AM. The general responsibility of this role is to maintain equipment and facilities for minimum failure potential by making repairs and conducting preventive maintenance as efficiently and cost-effectively as possible.
Requirements
- 3 years work experience in a manufacturing environment
- Certificate in Industrial Maintenance or equivalent of experience in electronics, controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, and drives
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Read and understand electrical and electronic schematics.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, which may require lifting up-to 75 lbs.
- Complete preventive maintenance projects as assigned.
- Complete and maintain all documentation records as applicable.
- Assist other technicians as needed.
- Contact outside vendors as needed to coordinate repairs.
- Follow all safety and environmental policies while performing work.
- Provide training to other technicians as applicable.
- Use effective communication skills and teamwork to coordinate work with departments and supervisors.
- Work overtime as required.
