About The Position

Oversees, maintains, and repairs equipment and other facility structures in a complex warehouse environment. This position reports to the Area Supervisor and has no direct reports. It typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• At least 1 year of work experience.
• Knowledge, skills, and abilities typically acquired through completion of a trade school degree program or equivalent degree in a related field of study.
• Experience working with general engine parts.
• Basic computer skills.
• Mechanical inclination.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working on conveyor systems.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs electric lift equipment and conveyor systems, and addresses technical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues as needed. Understands and troubleshoots conveyor operating system logic.
• Performs preventive maintenance and necessary modifications on electric lift equipment, conveyor systems, and buildings.
• Provides equipment status reports, including details of unusual maintenance problems.
• Follows safety guidelines established by the manufacturer, The Home Depot, or government agencies, and adheres to safety codes and OSHA standards.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by cleaning work areas daily.
