DC Investment Analyst
About The Position
The DC Investment Analyst role requires at least three years of professional investment experience and comprehensive knowledge of industry and professional concepts, principles, practices, procedures, relevant laws, regulations, and professional standards. The role involves using applicable technology and Microsoft Office and enterprise communication and travel solutions, while demonstrating initiative, leadership, customer awareness, self-directed learning, teamwork, interpersonal skills, and effective communication. The position requires comfort working to quick turnaround times and deadlines.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least three years of professional investment experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of industry and professional concepts, principles, practices, and procedures.
- Comprehensive knowledge of pertinent laws, regulations, and professional standards.
- Proficient use of applicable technology.
- Proficient use of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and enterprise communication and travel solutions (Concur, Skype).
- Experience performing work that requires initiative and leadership skills.
- Pursuing Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA), or other approved credentials or those required by law.
- Ability to anticipate and elicit customer needs.
- Ability to self-learn and quickly develop business and technical knowledge.
- Motivated team player with demonstrated interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable working with quick turnaround times and deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with individuals at all organizational levels.
