About The Position
Ferguson is hiring a DC General Warehouse Associate to support shipping and warehouse operations. The role involves receiving and registering inbound shipments, moving products throughout the warehouse, resolving orders that cannot be dispatched or are on hold, and picking and packing goods for dispatch. The associate also supports health, safety, and environmental compliance by completing required documentation and records, and follows company policies, procedures, and HSE requirements. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with overtime as needed. The starting rate is $23.50 per hour, with the opportunity to earn up to $5.50 more per hour based on individual performance, for a maximum stated rate of $29 per hour. Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse or transportation/shipping role is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely.
- Consistent and dependable attendance.
- Strong understanding of and commitment to health, safety, and environmental practices.

Responsibilities
- Ensure inbound shipments are received and registered accurately.
- Carry out general warehouse activities that support product movement throughout the warehouse.
- Assist site management with health, safety, and environmental compliance, including completing necessary documentation and records.
- Resolve orders that cannot be dispatched or are on hold by liaising with other departments.
- Pick and pack goods for dispatch.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Maintain consistent and dependable attendance.
- Perform other tasks as assigned to support warehouse operations.
