About The Position

We are a national network of experienced, high-level, freelance attorneys and paralegals who provide remote, on-demand support for both short-term and long-term legal projects for our client law firms. Due to increased demand, we are now interviewing for a qualified, experienced, and dedicated DC-licensed Attorney to provide of counsel / local counsel support for federal court matters. Requirements
- Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Washington, DC
- Experience appearing in or supporting matters in Federal Court
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Experience with general federal litigation
Nice To Haves
- Employment law, including whistleblower retaliation matters
- General civil litigation with a federal court background
- Administrative law experience
- Government procurement / government contracts experience
Responsibilities
- Serve as of counsel / local counsel for matters in DC Federal Court
- Assist with managing active litigation matters
- Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and legal memoranda
- Support case strategy and development
- Make court appearances as needed
- Collaborate with lead counsel and legal teams on case progression
