About The Position
RahrBSG is looking for a Part-Time DC Associate at our location in Oceanside, California. The DC Associate receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products within a distribution center. The DC Associate supports key initiatives of the company by successfully completing operational responsibilities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, safety, and cost control are prioritized.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to three months related experience and/or training
- Ability to lift up to 55lbs
- Attention to detail
Nice To Haves
- Forklift Experience is an asset
Responsibilities
- Assembling customer orders from stock and preparing order for shipment
- Sorting and maintaining stock inventory using RF scanner
- Transferring materials from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas
- Load and unload truck orders ensuring all loads are properly secured for outbound shipment
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse
- Follow all safety procedure and policies
- Maintain inventory records using worksheets and computer software
- Maintain and care for all equipment in warehouse including forklifts
- Other duties as assigned
