About The Position

This is a full-time opening at Lakeshore's Midway distribution center for a 1st Shift DC Associate. The hours for this position are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday. This role is open to internal applicants only.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• Can lift 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time with or without a reasonable accommodation
• Able to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel and stretch for extended periods with or without a reasonable accommodation
• Able to repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull and handle products with or without a reasonable accommodation
• Background check and pre-employment drug test are required

Nice To Haves

• 1 + year of Distribution or Warehouse experience preferred
• Standup or Sit Down Forklift Certified

Responsibilities

• Reviewing documents and record information; verifying quantity, identity, availability and condition of product
• Driving and operating a reach truck, pallet jack and/or fork truck to select, pull, sort and stack product within the warehouse and dock (if certified)
• Performing loader duties as assigned by moving and loading freight manually
• Performing order-filler duties as assigned
• Performing packer duties as assigned
• Open to being cross-trained for multiple positions
