About The Position

RahrBSG is looking for a Part Time DC Associate at our location in Houston, Texas. The DC Associate receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products within a distribution center. The DC Associate supports key initiatives of the company by successfully completing operational responsibilities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, safety, and cost control are prioritized.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
One to three months related experience and/or training
Ability to lift up to 55lbs
Attention to detail

Nice To Haves

Forklift Experience is an asset

Responsibilities

Assembling customer orders from stock and preparing order for shipment
Sorting and maintaining stock inventory using RF scanner
Transferring materials from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas
Load and unload truck orders ensuring all loads are properly secured for outbound shipment
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse
Follow all safety procedure and policies
Maintain inventory records using worksheets and computer software
Maintain and care for all equipment in warehouse including forklifts
Other duties as assigned
