About The Position

Under the direction of the Warehouse General Manager, the Warehouse Associate plays a key role in efficiently loading and unloading merchandise while maintaining a safe and organized environment. This role requires operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, stock pickers, and pallet jacks to move inventory efficiently.

Requirements

Ability to pass forklift and warehouse equipment certification.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or GED preferred.
1-3 years of warehouse, delivery, moving, construction, or related experience preferred.
Familiarity with AS400 or similar inventory management systems preferred.
Valid driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

Receive, sort, stock, and organize merchandise efficiently.
Pick, stage, and prepare customer orders accurately.
Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
Assist customers during merchandise pick-up and verify order accuracy.
Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, stock pickers, and other approved equipment while following all safety procedures.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and inventory accuracy initiatives.
Properly handle chemicals and hazardous materials in accordance with company and DOT guidelines.
Communicate customer concerns, inventory discrepancies, and operational issues to management promptly.
Assist with the delivery, placement, and transportation of spas, swim spas, patio furniture, and other oversized merchandise.
Safely maneuver large products using dollies, sleds, lift equipment, straps, and approved moving tools.
Work closely with delivery teams to ensure products are delivered safely and efficiently.
Perform pre-delivery inspections to verify merchandise is complete and free from visible damage.
Communicate professionally with customers during deliveries and provide exceptional customer service.
Document delivery concerns, property conditions, customer requests, and site challenges as needed.
Assist with setup preparation and basic customer education when appropriate.
Maintain delivery equipment, tools, and vehicles in clean and safe working condition.
Follow all safety procedures to protect employees, customers, property, and merchandise during delivery activities.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Use proper lifting techniques and required safety equipment.
Immediately report accidents, injuries, equipment concerns, or unsafe conditions.
Maintain compliance with company policies and applicable DOT safety requirements.
