This role supports the Project Manager throughout the entire project lifecycle, from initiation to closeout. The Associate Project Manager will coordinate project activities, ensuring effective communication among field crews, subcontractors, and clients. This position involves assisting with the preparation and maintenance of project schedules, cost tracking, and budgets. Regular site visits are required to monitor progress, ensure safety compliance, and support field supervision. The role also includes enforcing company, OSHA, and other applicable procedures and standards, as well as assisting with the oversight, training, and development of the crew. A key responsibility is understanding the contract scope, including standard and special provisions, technical specifications, payment and change clauses, and scheduling milestones. The Associate Project Manager must complete all administrative documentation accurately and on time, including safety audits, production reviews, change order management, and preparing bills for accounting. Prompt authorization of invoices, receipts, and fuel charges is also required, along with reviewing project performance against the budget. This role involves collaborating with customers to identify value-add activities and ensure their needs are met. Continuous improvement of personal, technical, and supervisory skills through development plans and training is expected. The Associate Project Manager will represent and promote the company’s mission, vision, and values, and complete required safety training. Other duties may be assigned.
