The Associate Project Manager will support the Project Manager in the overall project lifecycle, from initiation to closeout. This role involves coordinating project activities, ensuring timely communication between field crews, subcontractors, and clients, and assisting with the preparation and maintenance of project schedules, cost tracking, and budgets. The Associate Project Manager will also conduct site visits to monitor progress, ensure safety compliance, and assist field supervision. A key aspect of the role is enforcing Company, OSHA, and other applicable procedures and standards, as well as assisting with the oversight, training, and development of the crew. The position requires a thorough understanding of the contract scope, including standard and special provisions, technical specifications, payment and change clauses, and scheduling milestones. Additionally, the role involves completing all administrative documentation accurately and promptly, including safety audits, production reviews, managing change orders, and preparing bills for accounting. Authorization of all invoices, receipts, and fuel charges, as well as reviewing project performance to budget, are also key responsibilities. The Associate Project Manager will work collaboratively with customers to define value-add activities and ensure their needs are met, while also improving personal, technical, and supervisory skills through development plans and training. The role includes performing other duties as assigned.
