About The Position
The Learning Experience – Beltline is seeking a caring and dependable Daycare Teacher to support classrooms serving infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children. This role focuses on creating a safe, engaging environment where children build confidence, social skills, and early learning foundations through structured routines and hands-on experiences. This position is ideal for educators who enjoy working with young children in a collaborative childcare setting.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Prior childcare experience preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, nurturing, and professional approach
- Must meet Michigan childcare licensing requirements
Responsibilities
- Support daily classroom routines across multiple age groups
- Implement developmentally appropriate activities and learning experiences
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
- Guide children through meals, rest time, learning centers, and transitions
- Encourage positive social interaction and classroom participation
- Communicate regularly with families and teaching team members
- Follow Michigan childcare licensing requirements and center policies
