About The Position

We are seeking a CHILDCARE TEACHER to join our team at New Horizon Academy. This role involves inspiring, encouraging, and celebrating a child's love of learning every day. As an educator, you will work in beautifully equipped classrooms with support from knowledgeable staff, helping to shape the leaders of tomorrow. New Horizon Academy has been a leader in early care and education for over fifty years, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and advocating for childhood resources. The work is essential, focusing on the critical first five years of a child's social and emotional brain development.

Requirements

• At least 21 years old and able to drive a bus (for Pre-K Teacher position).
• Positive and reliable work ethic.
• Able to work full-time (roughly 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday).
• Flexible with scheduling.
• Meets or exceeds state qualifications for the listed position.
• Meets position qualification requirements as outlined by the state department guidelines.
• Can satisfy the Applicant Background Study required by state regulations.
• Can provide proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States.
• Has the physical abilities to perform the required job duties with or without accommodations.

Nice To Haves

• Previous childcare experience preferred, but not required.
• Previous experience in Early Childhood Education or related field of work.
