Acts with director to plan, organize, implement, and evaluate the efficient operation of a healthy, nurturing educational setting, under the guidelines of NAEYC and all state and federal regulatory agencies. Acts in lieu of director in their absence and in emergencies. Assists in the administration of the budgetary, regulatory compliance, curricular, and enrollment aspects for the center. Advocates for children and the program within the context and limits of the PA Early Intervention System; interfaces on a variety of levels with families, staff, therapists, specialists, and other ancillary professionals. Acts as liaison for individuals and entities that interact with the department. Mandated Reporter Training required within 30 days of hire; and to be maintain every 5 years.
