About The Position

Inspire Early Education is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-time Kitchen Driver to support the day-to-day operations of their commissary kitchen. This role plays a key part in delivering food to daycare around Boston by ensuring adherence to Kids & Company standards and food safety regulations. The company creates a joyful, inclusive environment where both children and educators flourish.

Requirements

High School diploma/GED equivalency
2-3 years driving related experience
Valid driver's license and a clean driver’s abstract
Available to work from 7:00 am to 11:00 am
Clear criminal background check
Ability to push, pull and lift to 50 pounds
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to take initiative and problem-solve effectively

Responsibilities

Load vans according to delivery manifests; assist fellow drivers in the loading process
Follow the route and schedule as stated to ensure on-time deliveries
Maintaining clean vehicle and cargo spaces daily
Fleet preparation work as assigned
Reporting issues or the appearance of warning lights immediately
Every day, inspect functional lights and signals, as well as wear and tear
Clean delivery bags and Cambro equipment thoroughly
Storing/organizing delivery equipment so that it is ready for use the next day
Complete other duties as assigned
