About The Position

The Learning Experience is seeking a Preschool Cook who loves to cook, kids, and making people happy. The role involves preparing delicious, nutritious meals for preschoolers, managing food allergies, following safety procedures, maintaining inventory, and ordering supplies. The cook will also be expected to bring a positive attitude, provide great customer service, and assist in classrooms when needed. This position is an opportunity to fuel young minds and contribute to a happy environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of food preparation/cooking experience
• Food handling certification—or willingness to obtain within 90 days
• ServSafe certification—or willingness to obtain
• Ability to lift at least 25 lbs.
• Someone dependable, flexible, positive and ready to have FUN!

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh, healthy & delicious meals for our preschoolers
• Create meals that meet nutritional requirements
• Carefully manage food allergies and communicate with teachers
• Follow food safety, sanitation & storage procedures
• Help maintain inventory and order food & supplies
• Bring a positive attitude and great customer service every day
• Jump into the classrooms and lend a helping hand when needed
