About The Position

The Daycare Assistant cares for infants in a warm, welcoming school environment. The role involves feeding babies, changing diapers, rocking them to sleep, and providing the love and attention they need. The assistant also helps maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom, supports teachers with daily routines and activities, and works with the team to create a nurturing environment for young children.

Requirements

• Genuine love of babies and enjoyment of caring for young children.
• Patience, gentleness, nurturing manner, and dependability.
• Comfort with diaper changing, feeding, lifting, and soothing infants.
• Ability to safely lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
• Enjoyment of teamwork and contributing to a positive environment.
• Willingness to learn and follow childcare and safety procedures.

• Previous childcare experience.
