About The Position

Join a HAPPY Early Childhood Academic childcare center as an Assistant Teacher. The center supports children from infancy through preschool with joyful, engaging early education designed to help children learn, play, and grow. The Assistant Teacher helps create a safe, organized, and happy learning environment, supports age-appropriate lessons and activities, monitors children’s development, and communicates with families. This franchise is independently owned and operated; applications and hiring decisions are handled by the franchisee.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to meet state and local childcare licensing requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Early childhood education coursework preferred.
• One or more years of childcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help deliver engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized classrooms by following TLE standards and protocols.
• Monitor children’s growth and development, understand key milestones, and celebrate their progress.
• Build relationships with families and share daily updates and cheerful moments through the mobile app.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to create a supportive and happy learning environment.
