About The Position

The Day Warehouse Mentor provides hands-on, day-to-day floor leadership, training, technical expertise, and operational support in the Hardwood Warehouse. The role supports receiving, hardwood veneer grading, batching, inventory storage, material handling, and transfers to production, working closely with the Warehouse Value Stream Manager (VSM) to support safe and efficient operations and departmental goals for safety, quality, inventory accuracy, material availability, on-time delivery, labor utilization, training, and continuous improvement. Regular walking, standing, reaching, bending, stooping, and material handling are required, including lifting up to 50 pounds independently and heavier items with assistance or equipment. Appropriate PPE and compliance with company safety requirements are mandatory. Regular and predictable attendance and flexibility to respond to operational, staffing, and training needs are essential; additional hours or shift coverage may be required based on operational needs.
