About The Position

As a member of the Warehouse team, the Day Warehouse Associate helps deliver products to customers by safely and efficiently picking and loading orders for next-day delivery. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and pay is $19.00 per hour. The role includes order fulfillment and truck loading, warehouse equipment inspection and operation, product handling, and workplace safety and cleaning duties. Other duties may be assigned by the jobholder’s supervisor.

Requirements

• Ability to carry and lift up to 65 pounds for extended periods.
• Ability to reach frequently, with intermittent overhead reaching.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to squat and/or bend frequently.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous warehouse experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Build orders for dock routes from invoices accurately and promptly through case picking or on the bottle line.
• Load route trucks with product according to computerized schematics.
• Inspect assigned warehouse equipment daily and report deficiencies.
• Safely operate material-handling equipment as needed, including forklift, order picker, pallet jack, reach truck, keg fork dock stocker, slip-sheet lift, de-layer, clamp truck, double pallet jack, and floor scrubber.
• Safely and properly handle shipments and replenish products.
• Perform cleaning and maintenance duties and report unsafe work area conditions.
• Handle beverage alcohol products responsibly.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the jobholder’s supervisor.
