About The Position

This is a full-time position with weekday hours. The primary responsibility is to ensure the health, welfare, and safety of individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or autism. This involves promoting meaningful lifestyle choices through community activities and events, and includes providing personal care. The Lead DSP will also oversee the operations of the horticulture specialty area, which includes inventory management, program development, and maintaining the cleanliness of the area.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • At least 5 years of good driving experience.
  • Meet driver eligibility criteria.
  • Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the health, welfare, and safety of individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or autism.
  • Promote meaningful lifestyle choices through community activities and events.
  • Provide personal care.
  • Oversee the operations of the horticulture specialty area.
  • Manage inventory for the horticulture area.
  • Develop programs for the horticulture specialty area.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the horticulture area.
