Day Stocker
About The Position
The Day Stocker operates powered material-handling equipment to transport products between storage areas, warehouse aisles, and the loading dock. The role moves products from reserve storage to pick-level slots to keep pick slots full and support efficient order selection, while following safe operating practices. The position includes transporting pallets and products, staging loads in designated aisles, performing equipment safety checks, recording damage, and keeping aisles clear. The listed schedule is Monday through Friday, with 7:00 a.m. starts on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday and 6:00 a.m. starts on Wednesday and Thursday; each shift continues until completion. The stated expected base rate is $20.45, with overtime compensation and a freezer premium where applicable.
Requirements
- Material Handling Equipment job-related certification.
- Six months of prior Selector experience.
- Ability to read and write legibly.
- Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Ability to properly use company-provided SAE, onboard computer terminals, and scanning devices.

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Responsibilities
- Move stock from higher-level reserve slots to ground-level pick-level slots to keep pick slots full for order selectors.
- Operate powered industrial equipment, including an industrial forklift and pallet jack, for material-handling assignments.
- Use company systems to identify and transport material to and from storage areas, aisles, and the loading dock.
- Transport pallets or products as needed to clear dock congestion.
- Move pallet loads from the dock to the correct warehouse storage aisles and ensure pallets are secure and properly staged.
- Perform operational and safety checks, including checks of the battery, brakes, lift controls, and fire extinguisher.
- Record product, equipment, and warehouse damage.
- Keep aisles clean by removing debris from floors and racks.
- Follow safety policies and practices at all times.
