The Arc of Ouachita dba ARCO is looking for a passionate, strategic, and purpose-driven Day Services Director to lead programs that help people with developmental disabilities connect, contribute, work, grow, and thrive in their communities. Requirements

Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education, Social Services, or a related field.
Director-level managerial experience.
Valid Louisiana driver's license.
Dependable transportation available for use on the job.
Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.
Ability to develop relationships with businesses, community organizations, and other partners.
Understanding of budgets, expenses, and revenues.
Ability to evaluate programs and develop services that respond to individual and community needs.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and respond to agency needs, including working outside of regular hours when necessary.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop person-centered, community-based Day Services programs.
Promote meaningful employment, community integration, independence, and personal growth.
Build strong relationships with employers, businesses, community organizations, families, and other partners.
Assess participant needs and develop programs that support individual goals and interests.
Supervise, coach, and develop Day Services staff and provide direction to program/team managers.
Evaluate program effectiveness and implement improvements that strengthen outcomes.
Ensure services meet applicable governmental requirements, agency standards, policies, and procedures.
Manage departmental transportation needs.
Assist with program funding and resource development.
Collaborate with ARCO's Executive Director, Human Resources Director, management team, staff, participants, families, and community partners.
Support ARCO's overall mission and participate in agency-wide initiatives and activities.
