About The Position

Saratoga Bridges is seeking a Day Service DSP with experience supporting individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. The ideal candidate will be organized, creative, and possess a calm, consistent demeanor, especially when managing challenging behaviors. This role is based at our Ballston Spa Day Service and offers a Monday through Friday schedule, allowing for a good work-life balance. The position involves working with a team to facilitate community experiences, including volunteering and site visits, as well as participating in art projects and classroom activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma
• Valid driver's license
• Experience supporting people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities
• Organized
• Creative
• Calm presence
• Level-headed
• Consistent in routines

Responsibilities

• Run & document daily goals for the people you are working with
• Provide hands-on support to the people in your classroom
• Help individuals prepare for opportunities in their community
• Provide experiences in the community such as volunteering or visiting sites
• Participate in art projects and classroom activities
