About The Position
A Day Remodel Associate works with the Remodel Lead and Day Remodel Manager to establish standards in newly renovated departments. They complete modulars, assist customers, ensure high-ticket merchandise is secured, maintain the clearance zone, and scan departments before and after setting to ensure proper in-stock levels. This role is crucial in maintaining operational standards during renovation periods and ensuring a positive customer experience despite ongoing construction.

Responsibilities
- Ensures high-ticket merchandise is properly secured in a designated location.
- Sets mods by printing mod sheets/labels, cleaning counters, installing ESL (where required), installing DSM, and linking mods to DSM labels (where required).
- Stocks a variety of departments including General Merchandise, Fashion, Consumables, Grocery, Dairy/Frozen, and Fresh Departments.
- Follows guidelines for cold chain compliance to ensure quality assurance.
- Assists in Shrink prevention by scanning all damaged and stolen merchandise in a timely manner.
- Builds new counters using kit sheets provided by the Warehouse Associates as per the print provided by the Lead Specialist.
- Moves counters using the appropriate equipment.
- Merchandises endcaps, action alley, and side counters in accordance with accepted standards.
- May occasionally work in construction areas, requiring steel toes and a hard hat.
- Consistently demonstrates exceptional customer focus by proactively assisting customers in locating products, answering questions accurately, and ensuring a positive shopping experience despite ongoing construction activity.
