About The Position

A Day Remodel Associate works with the Remodel Lead and Day Remodel Manager to establish standards in newly renovated departments. They complete modulars, assist customers, ensure high-ticket merchandise is secured, maintain clearance zones, and scan departments before and after setting to ensure proper in-stock levels. This role is crucial in maintaining a positive shopping experience for customers despite ongoing construction activity.

Requirements

Must be 16 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

Ensures high-ticket merchandise is properly secured in a designated location.
Sets mods by printing mod sheets/labels, cleaning counters, installing ESL (where required), installing DSM, and linking mods to DSM labels (where required).
Stocks a variety of departments including General Merchandise, Fashion, Consumables, Grocery, Dairy/Frozen, and Fresh Departments.
Follows guidelines for cold chain compliance to ensure quality assurance.
Assists in Shrink prevention by scanning all damaged and stolen merchandise in a timely manner.
Builds new counters using kit sheets provided by the Warehouse Associates as per the print provided by the Lead Specialist.
Moves counters using the appropriate equipment.
Merchandises endcaps, action alley, and side counters in accordance with accepted standards.
May occasionally work in construction areas, requiring steel toes and a hard hat.
Consistently demonstrates exceptional customer focus by proactively assisting customers in locating products, answering questions accurately, and ensuring a positive shopping experience despite ongoing construction activity.
