About The Position

The Day Program Assistant supports people with developmental goals and complex needs, helping them grow, learn, live well, and participate in their community. The role includes building meaningful relationships, supporting participants in preferred activities, and helping with goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition. The assistant also provides personal hygiene support and works with individuals who may have behavioral challenges.

This is a full-time position in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Pay is $16.00 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Communication, adaptability, multitasking, teamwork, and time-management skills.
• Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible approach.
• Valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination is preferred.

Responsibilities
