About The Position

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Janitorial Day Porter to join our team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our facility’s daily cleanliness, ensuring a welcoming, sanitary, and organized environment for everyone who walks through our doors. This is a perfect part-time opportunity for someone looking for consistent weekday afternoon hours.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of professional cleaning or janitorial experience.
• Must be able to comfortably and repetitively lift up to 35 lbs.
• Punctual attendance for the Monday through Friday shift is a must.
• A strong eye for cleanliness and a proactive attitude toward maintaining facility standards.
• Successfully pass a drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Keep bathrooms fully stocked with paper products and soap; safely receive and put away janitorial supplies.
• Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, wiping down high-touch surfaces, and cleaning restrooms.
• Vacuum carpets and maintain floor cleanliness in common areas.
• Regularly pull trash and replace liners to keep the facility clutter-free.
• Complete other specialized cleaning duties as assigned by the supervisor to keep operations running smoothly.
