Day Porter - Full-Time
About The Position
This role supports general labor services, focusing on litter removal and cleaning. The position operates Monday-Friday during the day shift, with potential Saturday work. The job location is 10 Albe Dr, Newark, DE 19702. Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License
- High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent work experience closely related to the field of work.
- Experience working outdoors
- Ability to follow directions and read maps
- Must maintain valid driver's license/good driving record
- Must pass and maintain drug-free status: employment and random drug tests
- Ability to operate a pick-up truck safely
- Ability to lift 40 lbs. occasionally
- Moderate lifting - no greater than 40 lbs.; moderate reaching, pushing, pulling, gripping, and grasping. No fine manipulation or fine manual dexterity required.
- Ability to stand for a full shift in addition to walking, climbing stairs and bending, as required.
Responsibilities
- Operate a pick-up truck to drive to different stops on a scheduled route.
- Complete assigned job(s) in the time allotted.
- Immediately report equipment issues, incidents, or safety concerns and accurately complete required logs and paperwork.
- Perform labor duties as required by team lead, such as litter pick-up along highways.
- Perform cleaning and labor tasks to maintain various retail properties.
- Use a leaf blower to blow off sidewalks, change trash bags, and walk around the property to check for issues.
