About The Position

The Day Porter position supports general labor services, focusing on litter removal and cleaning. This is a full-time role requiring the operation of a pick-up truck to travel to various locations on a scheduled route. The responsibilities include performing labor duties as assigned by a team lead, such as litter pick-up along highways, maintaining retail properties through cleaning and labor tasks, using a leaf blower, changing trash bags, and identifying property issues.

Requirements

Valid Driver’s License
DOT Physical Required but paid for by Company expense.
Dot Medical Card
High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent work experience closely related to the field of work.
Experience working outdoors
Ability to follow directions and read maps
Must maintain valid driver's license/good driving record
Must pass and maintain drug-free status: employment and random drug tests
Ability to operate a pick-up truck safely
Ability to lift 40 lbs. occasionally
Moderate lifting - no greater than 40 lbs.; moderate reaching, pushing, pulling, gripping, and grasping. No fine manipulation or fine manual dexterity required.
Ability to stand for a full shift in addition to walking, climbing stairs and bending, as required

Responsibilities

Operate a pick-up truck to drive to different stops on a scheduled route.
Complete assigned job(s) in the time allotted.
Perform litter pick-up along highways.
Perform cleaning and labor tasks to maintain various retail properties.
Using a leaf blower to blow off sidewalks, changing trash bags, and walking around the property to check for issues.
