About The Position

This is a full-time position for an Overnight Porter (Non-CDL) responsible for supporting general labor services, specifically litter and cleaning tasks. The role involves operating a pick-up truck to travel to various stops on a scheduled route, picking up trash alongside highways, and completing assigned jobs within the allotted time. The position also requires performing other labor duties as assigned, maintaining the cleanliness and safety of trucks, shop, and yard, and performing power washing and basic mechanic tasks such as greasing trucks.

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License, Required
• High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent work experience closely related to the field of work.
• Experience working outdoors
• Ability to follow directions and read maps
• Must maintain valid driver's license/good driving record
• Must pass and maintain drug-free status: employment and random drug tests
• Ability to operate a pick-up truck safely
• Ability to lift 40 lbs. occasionally
• Moderate lifting - no greater than 40 lbs.; moderate reaching, pushing, pulling, gripping, and grasping. No fine manipulation or fine manual dexterity required.
• Ability to stand for a full shift in addition to walking, climbing stairs and bending, as required

Responsibilities

• Operate a pick-up truck to drive to different stops on a scheduled route.
• Pick up trash alongside highway(s).
• Complete assigned job(s) in the time allotted.
• Perform labor duties as required and assigned by team lead.
• Maintain the cleanliness of trucks and support equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the shop and yard.
• Power Washing assigned equipment and/or sites, as needed.
• Perform basic mechanic tasks, such as greasing trucks etc.
