About The Position

Pritchard Industries is a dynamic and innovative provider of comprehensive facility services, dedicated to enhancing the operational efficiency of our client partners in the industries we serve. With services from facility maintenance and janitorial to landscaping and snow removal, we enable desired outcomes for our clients through consistent service and outstanding people. We are seeking to hire a Day Porter. Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and safety throughout the parking garage and surrounding areas, including policing the perimeter and 9th-floor parking deck, cleaning and disinfecting elevators, buttons, door handles, railings, stairwells, and glass vestibules. Duties include mopping floors, cleaning windows, changing air fresheners, removing trash and replacing liners, and checking and replenishing hand sanitizer stations as needed. Reports any unusual conditions or safety concerns and assists the Parking Manager with additional duties as necessary.

Requirements

Must be able to follow instructions from supervisor and complete all tasks effectively.
Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
Reliable Transportation.

Nice To Haves

Prior cleaning experience is a plus.
Janitor experience a plus but will train.

Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness and safety throughout the parking garage and surrounding areas.
Police the perimeter and 9th-floor parking deck.
Clean and disinfect elevators, buttons, door handles, railings, stairwells, and glass vestibules.
Mop floors.
Clean windows.
Change air fresheners.

Report any unusual conditions or safety concerns.
