About The Position
The Day Porter will work under the supervision of the Custodial Manager performing a variety of custodial duties for C&W Services. Such duties shall be in accordance with established standards, instructions, and procedures of C&W Service. Management also reserves the right to change or modify this position description from time to time to meet the needs of the site and/or building(s).
Requirements
- Must be able to take direction, work with minimal supervision, and function cooperatively as part of a team
- Candidates must be able to successfully pass a background check
- Requires attention to detail and pride in work completed
Responsibilities
- Sweep, mop, and wash floors & other surfaces
- Vacuum rugs and spot clean as needed
- Clean and dust furniture; clean interior glass
- Clean bathrooms and restock paper supply daily
- Collect building trash daily
- Sweep or shovel snow from steps and walkways during winter months
- Perform periodic work: High dusting, leather and wood surfaces, polishing, wall washing
- Other duties as assigned
