About The Position

The CSR Lead will be responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of the areas assigned and will provide some work direction to custodial staff. The Day Porter Lead will perform janitorial duties and all duties listed on the daily schedule. This role involves providing work direction and assistance to custodians as directed by the Custodial Supervisor, and assisting the Custodial Supervisor in scheduling and training staff as needed. The lead will also operate motorized cleaning equipment, track equipment inventory, maintenance, and repairs, and schedule clean up and repairs as needed. Maintaining daily upkeep of the assigned area, tracking and maintaining supplies inventory, and assisting the Custodial Supervisor in purchasing cleaning supplies and equipment are also key responsibilities. The position requires performing quality, service, and safety inspections, reporting incidents and hazardous conditions to the supervisor, and reporting employee personnel and customer issues to the supervisor. Additionally, the lead will monitor employees for proper use of personal protective equipment and supplies, correct at-risk behavior, and provide recommendations for corrective action on areas needing improvement.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
1 to 2 years related experience
CPR/AED/First Aid certification
May be required to have a valid driver’s license
Completed all safety and task training certification
May be required to be forklift certified
Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and willing to share with team
Knowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipment
Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use

Responsibilities

Perform janitorial duties
Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule

Assist Custodial Supervisor in purchasing cleaning supplies and equipment

Correct at risk behavior, then report to the supervisor immediately
