About The Position

ABM is seeking a reliable and experienced Day Porter Cleaner to perform a variety of cleaning duties across assigned facilities, maintaining a clean, safe, orderly, and sanitary workplace for employees, clients, and visitors. The role includes routine floor and surface cleaning, restroom sanitation, waste removal, glass cleaning, proper care of equipment and supplies, reporting issues, and helping with event or meeting setup and cleanup. The shift is Monday through Friday, 4:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The listed pay rate is $20.20 per hour; a specific offer may vary based on experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and market data. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or general cleaning roles is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety standards.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure hygiene standards are met.
• Empty trash and recycling bins and handle waste in accordance with company policies.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
• Maintain and properly store cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor.
• Assist with setup and cleanup for meetings, events, or special projects as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and company protocols related to cleaning and sanitation.
