About The Position

Join us as a Day Habilitation Manager at The Arc Ontario! You will undertake various supervisory, participant-related, and administrative tasks associated with providing habilitation services for the Day Habilitation Programs and Creative Expressions Programs. Additionally, you will assist in planning and implementing services and activities. As well as promote the well-being of participants and the protection of their individual rights, through the support of agency mission, vision and values.

Requirements

BA/BS Degree in Human Services Field.
Over three (3) years' experience in working with individuals with developmental disabilities, including supervisory experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

Performs a variety of staff management functions, including, but not limited to, recruitment, orientation and training, direct supervision, scheduling, performance evaluation, etc. Meets regularly with staff under direct supervision to discuss performance, service delivery and program planning.
Responsible for ongoing supervision of staff associated with Day Hab ensuring services are delivered efficiently and to the satisfaction of the participant.
Works closely with other management staff in overseeing the individual program planning process, including maintenance of records, to ensure appropriate provision of service and financial compliance. Ensures that plans and services are individualized, and designed to promote independence, integration and productivity, working closely with individuals, staff and other service providers. Attends team meetings, as needed.
