About The Position
Responsible for preventative maintenance and repair of electrical equipment in the facility. This role is a training position for the Shift Electrician on the Paint Line. The Shift Electrician is the technical support lead role on shift. The successful interaction with Operations is a critical part of the Shift Electrician and Day Electrician position.
Requirements
- Must have a good understanding of TCOS “Take Control of Safety” and what it means to you.
- Excellent safety and attendance record
- Strong communication skills
- Proficient with electrical instruments, hand/power tools
- Training or technical degree in industrial electricity with extensive experience in: Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Variable Frequency Drives (VFD)
- Hydraulic & Pneumatic controls
- Power transformers and Power Distribution Equipment
- Protection Relays
Nice To Haves
- Strong electrical aptitude with troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Know and understand electrical principles and electronics
- Knowledge of diverse electrical equipment
- Knowledge of electrical testing and maintenance requirements.
