About The Position

Modern Maintenance, Inc. is hiring janitorial workers for a professional setting. This role is for Union Buildings, and union dues are required after 90 days of employment. The position requires a professional appearance as it is client-facing, and the ability to work independently.

Requirements

• Janitorial experience
• Proven janitorial and custodial experience in professional settings
• Strong skills in cleaning techniques
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards
• Professional Appearance
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
• Professional and well-groomed appearance
• Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to stand/walk for the entirety of the shift

Responsibilities

• Empty trash containers
• Clean bathrooms
• Vacuum all carpeted floors
• Dust, mop, and sweep hard floors
• Dust all horizontal surfaces high and low
• Remove fingerprints and marks from glass and stainless-steel surfaces
• Maintain the cleanliness of closets and storage areas
• Notify supervisor of any problems
• Perform other janitorial duties as required
