About The Position
Immanuel Pathways PACE® is seeking a Participant Care Aide for Pathways Southwest Iowa in Council Bluffs, Iowa. The role provides and assists participants with personal care, activities of daily living, restorative and recreational programming, and supportive care in the center and/or participants’ homes. The aide helps monitor and report participants’ health status and supports a safe environment. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with in-home care on an eighth-weekend rotation. Travel is reimbursed at $0.725 per mile. Pay is up to $22.06 per hour, based on experience, certifications, skills, and education. A background check and drug screen are required before hire.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant certificate in the state of employment.
- At least 18 years of age.
- One year of experience working with frail or elderly people, or completion of job-specific training related to working with the elderly population within the first six months of hire.
- Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle.
- Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
