About The Position
Chatham Music and Arts Day Camp is looking for energetic, dedicated, and creative individuals to join our team for the upcoming season. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Reliability, energy, and a collaborative spirit. Counselor positions: Pay: $14.00 per hour Schedule: Monday – Friday (Seasonal: June – July) with one Saturday open house Location: Chatham University Reporting to: Camp Director and Leadership Team Instructor positions: Pay: $16.00 per hour Schedule: Monday – Friday (Seasonal: June – July) with one Saturday open house Location: Chatham University Reporting to: Camp Director and Leadership Team Leadership Team: Pay: $18.00-19.00 per hour (based on experience) Schedule: Monday – Friday (Seasonal: June – July) with one Saturday open house Location: Chatham University Reporting to: Camp Director AVAILABLE POSITIONS 1. Camp Instructors We are looking for staff experienced in art, music, theater, and physical fitness to lead engaging, hands-on workshops. Whether you're an educator or a professional artist, you'll design and implement age-appropriate curriculum for our three divisions. Sample classes: Musical Theater, School of Rock, Mixed Media, Visual Arts, Technology, Swimming, and Language Arts. 2. Camp Counselors The core of the CMADC experience! Counselors offer direct supervision and mentorship to a specific group of campers, guiding them through their daily routines. Divisions: Division 1: Rising K – 2nd Grade Division 2: Rising 3rd – 4th Grade 3. Camp Leadership Content Coordinators Seeking experienced members to oversee daily operations and staff management. Roles: You will oversee a diverse team of instructors (Music, Theater, Visual Arts, fitness) to ensure that the curriculum is developmentally appropriate, engaging, and aligned with CMADC’s mission

Responsibilities
- Plan daily activities, manage classroom supplies, and foster a safe, inclusive learning environment.
- Facilitate group bonding, ensure camper safety, and assist instructors during specialized sessions.
- Manage staff schedules, resolve conflicts, coordinate with parents, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
