Day Camp Senior Counselor - Christian Day Camp
About The Position
Share Christ and have a blast with the campers in your group as you build relationships! Camp counselors have a profound impact on each camper's experience and make what we do at camp possible. Many campers hear about Jesus for the first time at Day Camp, and camp counselors have a front-row seat to see kids grow in their faith journey as they learn more about God throughout the summer. Pinebrook Day Camp provides a fun and caring place for campers ages 5-15 throughout the summer. Each summer we look for individuals who are responsible, fun, and have a desire to point people towards Christ! You'll be working with an amazing summer team as well as sharing the gospel with campers and doing life in community.
Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the US.
- Must be 18 years or older to be a Senior Camp Counselor.
- Responsible and fun personality.
- Desire to point people towards Christ.
- Ability to work with an amazing summer team.
- Willingness to do life in community.
- Must complete FBI Criminal Background fingerprint clearance.
- Must complete PA Child Abuse Clearance.
- Must complete PA Criminal History Clearance.
- Do not use AI tools to write your responses on this form or future correspondence.
Nice To Haves
- Assistant camp counselors (starting at age 17) gain experience working with campers with guidance from senior counselors and camp leadership.
Responsibilities
- Lead small groups of campers with support from camp leadership and assistant counselors.
- Share the gospel with campers.
- Build relationships with campers.
- Engage campers in worship and Bible study.
- Participate in fun activities with campers, including swimming.
