Day Breast Radiologist - Greensboro Radiology
About The Position
Greensboro Radiology is seeking a Breast Imager to join its established practice in central North Carolina. The role focuses exclusively on breast imaging, including a heavy concentration in ultrasound, stereotactic, and MRI-guided breast biopsies. The radiologist should be proficient and comfortable with 3-D mammography, diagnostic breast MRI and ultrasound, and ultrasound-, MRI-, and stereotactic-guided biopsies and aspirations. The position offers a collaborative environment with local surgeons, pathologists, and oncologists, a partnership track, and a Monday-through-Friday breast-imaging schedule. Overnight call is not required. The role is full-time and on-site in Greensboro, North Carolina. Greensboro Radiology is a highly subspecialized private practice group with more than 55 radiologists serving multiple health systems and imaging centers throughout central North Carolina. The group describes its mission as leading radiology excellence through personalized and compassionate care and uses a single PACS/voice-recognition environment across the areas it serves.
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO).
- Residency training in an ACGME-accredited Diagnostic Radiology program.
- ABR or AOBR board-certified or board-eligible.
- Completed a one-year post-residency fellowship in Breast Imaging or have extensive experience in Breast Imaging.
- MQSA certified.
- Licensed in North Carolina or able to obtain a North Carolina license.
- Proficient and comfortable with 3-D mammography, diagnostic breast MRI and ultrasound, and ultrasound-, MRI-, and stereotactic-guided biopsies and aspirations.
Responsibilities
- Provide breast imaging services, including 3-D mammography, diagnostic breast MRI, and diagnostic breast ultrasound.
- Perform ultrasound-, MRI-, and stereotactic-guided breast biopsies and aspirations.
- Collaborate with local surgeons, pathologists, and oncologists.
