About The Position

The Database Engineer / Oracle DBA will administer databases in programs or environments of comparable scope and complexity. The role involves data migration and replication, database user administration, backup and recovery, performance tuning, issue investigation and resolution, and general database administration and maintenance. Candidates should have strong experience with Oracle databases and/or other relational and NoSQL database platforms, including PostgreSQL and MongoDB. The position is full-time and requires a TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph through the Maryland customer. Locations include Annapolis Junction, Maryland; Alexandria, Virginia; San Diego, California; and Aurora, Colorado.

Requirements

Demonstrated experience as a Database Administrator in programs or environments of comparable scope and complexity.
10 years of DBA experience required for the senior-level candidate profile.
Experience with data migration and replication, database user administration, backup and recovery, database performance tuning, issue investigation and resolution, and general database administration and maintenance.
Strong understanding of relational databases and familiarity with non-relational/NoSQL database technologies.
Strong experience with Oracle databases and/or other relational and NoSQL platforms, including PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
Hands-on experience with Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and SQL.
Experience writing scripts using one or more of JavaScript, Bash/Linux shell scripting, Perl, or Python.
Knowledge of programming languages, including Java.
TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph clearance through the Maryland customer.
