About The Position

ASSYST is seeking a Database Analyst to support its client onsite in Ocoee, Florida. The role supports the Roadside Toll Systems Team through database administration, reporting, analytics, maintenance, and operational support. The analyst creates and maintains key performance indicators and metrics; assists with alerts, database migrations, vendor build deployments, hardware replacements, SQL distributor maintenance, and roadside replication; and collaborates with the monitoring operation center and SLAM team members on third-party patching, data analysis, and Power BI reporting. The position also analyzes and optimizes database designs and evaluates business-process information for credibility, relevance, and meaning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Five years of IT work experience in DBA, SQL procedural code, and design within relevant computing environments.
• Versatility with Oracle Procedural Language (PL-SQL) and Microsoft SQL (Transact-SQL).
• Proven experience in Power BI report development and deep-dive data analysis.

Nice To Haves

• Experience supporting roadside tolling systems, particularly SQL distributor maintenance, roadside database replication, and operational monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Create, manage, and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
• Support the Roadside Toll Systems Team with report generation, new alerts, database migrations, vendor build deployments, hardware replacements, SQL distributor maintenance, and roadside replication.
• Work with the monitoring operation center and SLAM team members to oversee third-party patching, deep-dive data analysis, Power BI report development, and database support across multiple platforms and computing environments.
• Analyze data requirements, application and processing architectures, data dictionaries, and database schemas; design, develop, amend, and optimize them to meet system requirements.
• Gather, analyze, and normalize information related to business processes, functions, and operations to evaluate data credibility and determine relevance and meaning.
