About The Position

PSR Associates is seeking a Database Analyst to join the Roadside Toll Systems Team. The selected candidate will work onsite in Ocoee, Florida. This intermediate-level professional role supports team functions of medium to high complexity, contributes to several projects as a team member, and may sometimes serve as a project leader or coach junior technical staff. The analyst creates, manages, and maintains key performance indicators and metrics; supports reporting, alert creation, database migrations, vendor build deployments, hardware replacements, SQL distributor maintenance, and roadside replication; and works with the monitoring operation center and other SLAM team members on third-party patching, in-depth data analysis, and Power BI report development. The role also supports databases across multiple platforms and computing environments, and analyzes data requirements, application and processing architectures, data dictionaries, and database schemas to design, develop, amend, and optimize solutions. The analyst gathers, analyzes, and normalizes information about business processes, functions, and operations to assess data credibility and determine relevance and meaning.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or another related field, or equivalent work experience.
Five years of IT work experience in database administration (DBA), SQL procedural code and design, and relevant computing environments.
Versatility in Oracle Procedural Language (PL/SQL) and Microsoft SQL (Transact-SQL).

Responsibilities

Create, manage, and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
Generate reports and create new alerts.
Perform database migrations and vendor build deployments.
Support hardware replacements, SQL distributor maintenance, and roadside replication.
Work with the monitoring operation center and other SLAM team members to oversee and monitor third-party patching.
Perform deep-dive data analysis and develop Power BI reports.
Support databases across multiple platforms and computing environments.
Analyze data requirements, application and processing architectures, data dictionaries, and database schemas; design, develop, amend, and optimize them to meet system requirements.
Gather, analyze, and normalize information related to business processes, functions, and operations to evaluate data credibility and determine relevance and meaning.
Contribute to multiple projects and, at times, serve as a project leader.
May coach junior technical staff.
