About The Position
This co-op position will support the Accessibility Office in initiatives advancing Amtrak’s accessibility program to ensure access for people with disabilities in Amtrak’s services, programs, and policies. The role involves assisting in the development of materials and technical guidance that support the Accessibility Office communications and planning. A key aspect of the position will be to identify opportunities for accessibility program improvements through data analysis.
Requirements
- Must be actively pursuing a degree at an accredited educational institution.
- Must be actively pursuing an undergraduate/graduate degree in Engineering
- Must have at least 3 years of academic undergraduate studies completed or a senior status at minimum.
- Must have a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher
- Understands the principles of database technology to analyze data from sources within the company.
Nice To Haves
- Ability to assess disparate situations.
- Ability to effectively communicate results of data analysis.
- Ability to travel to Amtrak stations and observe customer interactions with employees.
