About The Position

Atos is hiring a Database Administrator with experience supporting Oracle Database and IBM Db2 LUW in production environments. The role includes database installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, backup and recovery, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and support for high availability and disaster recovery. The position requires Linux/Unix experience, participation in incident, change, and problem management, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. The successful candidate must be willing to cross-train across database technologies, participate in an on-call rotation, and successfully complete the required fingerprinting and security/background clearance process.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of DBA experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Database and IBM Db2 LUW.
• Experience supporting production databases.
• Experience with database installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades.
• Experience with backup, restore, and recovery.
• Experience with performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of high availability and disaster recovery concepts.
• Linux/Unix experience.
• Incident, change, and problem management experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Willingness to cross-train across database technologies.
• Ability to participate in the on-call rotation.
• Ability to successfully complete the required fingerprinting and security/background clearance process.

Responsibilities

• Support production databases running Oracle Database and IBM Db2 LUW.
